Chiefs head coach Andy Reid delivered a bit of good news on Monday while speaking to reporters saying that the team did not believe that the high-ankle sprain suffered by running back Jamaal Charles on Sunday was severe.
Reid said that the injury to Charles “doesn’t look to be a real severe one.” However added that “it does have the component of a high-ankle sprain.”

While Reid is talking on both sides here, the more likely scenario is that Charles misses multiple weeks. Knile Davis figures to get the bulk of carries in the absence of Charles.
