Tyler Eifert is expected to miss four to six weeks with his elbow injury suffered in Week 1.
Eifert could end up on the injured reserve-recall list. The Bengals would be able to have him back in time for their tenth game of the season reports the teams website.
With Eifert out of the picture, the Bengals will drop their two tight end sets for now. Jermaine Gresham could see a slight uptick in his targets after posting career lows across the board last season.
