The NFL regular season gets underway on Thursday night as the Green Bay Packers travel to take on the Seattle Seahawks.
After winning the Super Bowl last season the Seahawks are the NFC favorite to return to the big game. Of course the Packers will want to prove that they are the team to beat after seeing their 2013 season hampered by the loss of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Last year the Packers saw their season end in the playoffs with a loss to San Francisco, a team that Seattle beat twice in 2013.
Now the Seahawks will want to prove they can defeat the Packers head to head this season.
CenturyLink Field in Seattle, WA will play host to the game between the Packers and Seahawks. Coverage of this game will air on NBC beginning at 8:30 pm ET.
