The Denver Broncos will start the season with just two quarterbacks on their roster.
Peyton Manning will again be backed up by Brock Osweiler. On Saturday the Broncos waived Zac Dysert.
Dysert, 24, made the Broncos roster as the third string quarterback last year in part because the Broncos were concerned about losing him if they attempted to send him to the practice squad.
A former seventh round pick of the 2013 NFL Draft, Dysert finished the preseason 12-of-19 for 106 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in two preseason appearances. Whether or not someone will make the call to Dysert this year remains to be seen.
