The Dallas Cowboys waived safety Matt Johnson and 12 others on Tuesday as they trimmed their roster to 75 players ahead of their preseason finale.

Johnson was waived/injured meaning he could end up on the teams injured reserve list if he clears waivers. He has yet to play a regular season game.

Similarly the Cowboys waived tight end Jordan Najvar, and defensive backs Johnny Thomas and Justin Green and linebacker DeVonte Holloman.

The Cowboys also parted ways with Caleb Hanie, Chris Boyd, Adewale Ojomo, Tom Hornsey, Wayne Tribue, and Casey Kreiter. Earlier this week the Cowboys released linebacker Martez Wilson and fullback J.C. Copeland.

Following Thursday’s game the Cowboys will have until Saturday at 3 p.m. to trim their roster to 53.
