BenJarvus Green-Ellis is uncertain to play in the third preseason game for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Green-Ellis is believed to have injured himself in the Bengals second preseason game when he left after just one carry for three yards.

The loss of Green-Ellis could open the way for Jeremy Hill to be the Bengals No. 2 back this season. Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson referred questions about Green-Ellis to head coach Marvin Lewis according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Cedric Peerman and undrafted free agent James Wilder will also get carries on Sunday at Arizona.

Last season “the lawfirm” toted the ball 220 times for 756 yards and seven touchdowns.
