On Tuesday evening the Philadelphia Eagles acquired running back Kenjon Barner from the Carolina Panthers for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
The pick is contingent on Barner making the Eagles 53-man roster.
There were reports that Kenjon Barner could fail to make the 53-man roster in Carolina but he gets a new lease on his NFL career in Philadelphia under his former Oregon coach Chip Kelly.

The Eagles were in dire need of depth at running back and Barner could replace Chris Polk behind LeSean McCoy.
A sixth rounder in the 2013 NFL Draft, Barner had six carries across eight games for a total of seven yards.
