Tony Romo will play in Saturday’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.
After sitting out the opener the Dallas Cowboys will have Romo back under center. The plan for Romo is to play a few series according to team owner Jerry Jones.
The Cowboys are slowly working Romo back into the fold after he underwent his second back surgery in as many years last December. Romo is fully expected to be ready to play full-time once the regular season rolls around.
“Now, we just need to be smart about it, let him get a good feel for it out there,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “I don’t see him in there for a half or anything like that. But I do think he can take a couple of series.”
Jerry Jones said on KRLD-FM he can see QB Tony Romo playing a few series Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens. Prob depends on # of snaps.

With Kyle Orton gone the Cowboys have Brandon Weeden behind him on the depth chart. Romo should see additional time in the Cowboys third preseason game against Miami.
