Former Notre Dame starter Jimmy Clausen will get another crack at the NFL.
Calusen, who was selected in the second round of the 2010 draft by Carolina, has signed as a free agent with the Chicago Bears. He will join Jordan Palmer and sixth-round pick David Fales on the Bears depth chart. Two of the three figure to make the Bears roster.
Recovering from a torn labrum, Clausen should be ready for training camp.
