Browns WR Josh Gordon appealing suspension

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon’s agent Drew Rosenhaus is currently in the process of appealing his clients suspension.

Few details are known about Gordon’s suspension, namely how many games it will be for. It is unknown whether or not Gordon is is Stage 2 or 3 of the NFL’s substance abuse program.

A suspension of Gordon could be for the entire 2014 season.

Browns coach Mike Pettine has told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Gordon will take part in the teams OTAs.

The Browns drafted Johnny Manziel at No. 22 this year but whether or not he or incumbent Brian Hoyer will have Gordon to throw to remains to be seen.

Despite knowing about Gordon’s potential suspension the Browns did not draft a receiver in this years Draft. The Browns have since signed veterans Miles Austin and Earl Bennett.
