Bears: Kyle Fuller becomes first 1st round pick to sign

Kyle Fuller became the first 1st round pick to sign a deal. agreeing to a four year deal with the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.

Fuller is expected to be inserted into the Bears defensive game-plan immediately taking over slot coverage duties. He is the heir-apparent to the outside corner spot currently occupied by Charles Tillman.

According to CBSSports.com’s Joel Corry,  Fuller’s deal will be worth $9.687 million with a $1.761 million salary cap number for 2014. The Bears will have a fifth-year option on Fuller.

The only draft pick the Bears have not signed thus far is their third-round choice.
