The New York Giants believe that running back Davis Wilson will be cleared for contact by the start of training camp.
Previously the Giants had hope that Wilson would be cleared for contact so it’s only a slight change.
Wilson will be battling Rashad Jennings, rookie Andre Williams and Peyton Hillis for snaps.
