A pair of undrafted free agent wide receivers have homes following the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Washington Redskins have signed UDFA Cody Hoffman. A four-year starter with the BYU Cougars, the 6’3″ 223 pound Hoffman left as the school’s all-time leader in receptions, yards and touchdowns. Hoffman also has experience returning kicks.

At the combine his arms measured 33 1/4″ while he ran a 4.65 forty. The Redskins could give him a shot at being a possession receiver.

Silas Redd also has signed with the Redskins. Redd began his college time at Penn State before transferring to USC. There are concerns over his ability to hold on to the football but he did managed 2,959 yards and 19 touchdowns on 569 carries (5.20 YPC) during his college time. He is a take what he can get running back who can also pass protect.

The Oakland Raiders also signed a wide receiver after the draft. Mike Davis of the Texas Longhorns signed with the Raiders. Davis stands 6′ and weights 197 pounds. He started 38 games for the Longhorns and ran a 4.48 fort at the combine. Much like Hoffman there are some concerns with his other measureless but perhaps the Raiders eye him as a vertical pass threat.
