With the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Houston Texans selected Defensive End Jadeveon Clowney out of South Carolina.
The move hardly was a surprise as Clowney had become the consensus No. 1 pick following his massive hit in the Outback Bowl game against Michigan more than a season ago.
Clowney was the 2012 SEC Defensive Player of the Year. Clowney is a two-time All-Sec selection. (2012, 2013)
The Texans lost their last 14 games a season ago. The last time they had the No. 1 pick they selected Mario Williams.
