After 11 years in the NFL former Minnesota Vikings all-pro defensive tackle Kevin Williams said on Thursday that he may walk away from the game of football.

Williams, 33, would like to return but he is not about to do it for a contract which he believes is below his worth.

“If it’s not worth the risk of going back out there, I can’t say I’ll do it,” Williams, 33, said in a phone interview. “I don’t see (taking a low-value deal) at this point, but you never know.”

Williams expressed a level of comfortableness if his NFL career is over.

“Oh, yeah,” Williams said. “I’m not one of those guys that’s afraid to go home. I’m comfortable going home.”

A season ago Williams made $4. million.
