The Seatle Seahawks made a trade with the Oakland Raiders to acquire quarterback Terrelle Pryor. While some wondered if the Seahawks would try to transition Pryor to another position that does not appear to be the case early on.
“Right now he’s learning the quarterback position and (another position) isn’t even an option,” general manager John Schneider said via the Associated Press.
The Seahawks acquired Pryor with eyes on him as a quarterback. Currently the Seahawks also have Tarvaris Jackson on their bench behind starter Russell Wilson.
In 11 games for the Oakland Raiders in 2013, Pryor completed 57.4-percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He also had seven fumbles.
