Following Jordan Cameron’s big 2013 season the Cleveland Browns have tried to sign the tight end to an extension but thus far little ground has been made according to ESPN Cleveland.

Cameron caught 80 passes for 917 yards and seven touchdowns in 2013 earning a Pro Bowl selection in the process.

If a new deal cannot be reached the Browns could use the franchise tag on Cameron. The Browns will pay Cameron just $645,000 in 2014.

Along with wide receiver Josh Gordon, Cameron is part of a slim package of receiving options currently on the Browns roster.
