The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher to a one-year deal worth $1.431 million.
Sanzenbacher, 25, has played in 31 games across the last three seasons for the Chicago Bears and Bengals. Last season he appeared in 10 games for the Bengals catching six passes for 61 yards.
“I’ve had a sense of comfort in Cincinnati for whatever reason,” he said via the Cincinnati Enquirer. “I just have found it to be an easy place to play. It has a lot to do with the people that are around. It’s been a fun place to play. I knew I would be back there; I knew it was just a matter of getting the numbers worked out.”
A former undrafted free agent out of Ohio State, Sanzenbacher’s best season was his rookie campaign in which he cant 27 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns.
Sanzenbacher is not guaranteed a roster spot with the Bengals this season.
