The Houston Texans have added veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to their roster agreeing to a two-year deal with the former Buffalo Bills and Tennessee Titans signal caller.
Fitzpatrick, 31, appeared in 11 games for the Titans last season completing 62-percent of his passes for 2,454 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with 12 interceptions.
The deal for Fitzpatrick is for $7.5 million with $4 million guaranteed.
While Fitzpatrick lacks the tools and consistency to be one of the NFL’s better options at quarterback, he will give the Texans a good bridge quarterback who is capable of winning games if forced onto the field.
Fitzpatrick gets 2 years, 7.5 mil, 4 mil guaranteed.

The Texans hold the No. 1 overall pick and have long been linked to drafting a quarterback.
With the addition of Fitzpatrick it should be only a matter of days before the Texans cut Matt Schaub.
