The New England Patriots have re-signed wide receiver Julian Edelman according to multiple reports. Thus far no contract details have emerged.
Edelman excelled as a target of Tom Brady’s out of he slot. At one point it appeared that Edelman’s chances of returning to the Patriots were slim to none but that began to change in recent days.
Lat season Edelman caught 105 passes for 1,056 yards and six touchdowns.
Edelman will be paired up with fellow wide receivers Danny Amnedola and Aaron Dobson in the Patriots passing game.
