Ravens sign Steve Smith to three-year deal

The Baltimore Ravens have signed free agent wide receiver Steve Smith to a three-year deal.

Smith, 35 in May, was recently let go by the Carolina Panthers who will be still paying him a $3 million bonus regardless.

The new deal for Smith is a three-year deal for $11 million. He will join an offense which is starting to look good on paper. Joe Flacco will have Steve Smith, Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones, Dennis Pitta and Marlon Brown as options in the passing game.

Smith ranks 19th in the NFL in career receptions. Last season he caught 64 passes for 746 yards and four touchdowns in 2013.
