There is at-least one team interested in free agent quarterback Brandon Weeden.

According to ESPN Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys have expressed interest in Weeden who was released on Wednesday by the Cleveland Browns two seasons after being a first round pick.

During his time as a starter for the Browns, Weeden was just 5-15 throwing 23 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. Weeden is still owed more than $2 million in guaranteed money from the Browns but if anyone signs him that number will become prorated.

Currently the Cowboys have Kyle Orton as their backup to Tony Romo. Orton is owed $3.5 million in 2014. He started the Cowboys Week 17 loss to Philadelphia throwing for 358 yards and two touchdowns but tossing a game deciding interception.
