Report: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie turned down six-year deal from Broncos

Denver Broncos OTAs at Dove Valley
The Denver Broncos were trying to bring back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for the 2014 season, even going as far as offering him a six-year deal worth $54 million according to Pro Football Talk.

Rodgers-Cromartie, 27, has had a interesting couple of months. Prior to the Super Bowl he spoke about retirement and had to backpedal. Given a chance to land a large deal he rejected it.

The Broncos put off by Rodgers-Cromartie then became suitors for both Darrelle Revis and Aqib Talib finally landing Talib.

It remains unclear why DRC spurned the Broncos. With Talib now in Denver and the Patriots landing Revis it appears his market is drying up.
