The St. Louis Rams have re-signed offensive lineman Rodger Saffold to a five-year contract.
On Tuesday Saffold signed a deal with the Oakland Raiders for five-years and $42.5 million but it fell though after the Raiders had concerns with his shoulder.
After a disagreement in OAK on OT Rodger Saffold's physical condition, he is returning to STL to sign a 5-yr contract with the Rams. Wow.

The Rams then jumped in and offered their 2010 second round pick a five-year deal citing that they had “no concerns whatsoever” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Saffold is expected to play as a guard in St. Louis. His return will bolster the Rams offensive line which had become thin. The status of left tackle Jake Long who is recovering from an ACL tear is still a concern of the Rams as the season approaches.
