Ray Rice and his fiancee Janay Palmer were both arrested over the weekend for assault at the Revel Casino. While there reportedly is video that show both parties attacking one another, the one that TMZ posted to its website today shows Rice dragging Palmer out of an elevator.
The footage from Feb. 15 is right before Rice and Palmer were arrested. Someone who appears to be security steps in and Palmer then becomes conscious.
Rice’s attorney Michael Diamondstein released the following statement to TMZ. “Neither Ray nor myself will try this case in the media.”
“However, the video that’s being posted by TMZ Sports is not the complete event, but is merely the end result of what transpired.”
“We’ll assure the public that when this matter is fully tried and completed, you’ll have a better understanding of what happened and we ask the public to reserve making any judgment until all of the facts come out.”
