The Denver Broncos and free agent wide receiver Eric Decker are not close in contract talks.
Decker appeared on Sirius XM Radio and spoke out about his contract talks with the Broncos.
“If we can get on the same page, I will welcome a call from the Broncos, but I need to do what is best for my family,” Decker said. “It’s not all about the money for me. It’s about going to work everyday and having fun and enjoying my job.”

This one will come down to dollars, or rather how close Denver will come to matching other offers on the table. Some believe that Decker could make $10 million on the market as teams seek a top receiver. The Broncos view Decker as a No. 2 with Demaryius and Julius Thomas both being big targets of quarterback Peyton Manning.
Decker finished 2013 with 87 catches for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns.
