Rams not looking to extend Sam Bradford

The St. Louis Rams are not planning to extend quarterback Sam Bradford beyond his current deal reports Jason LaCanfora. Bradford has two-years and $27 million left on his contract.

While the Rams appear set to enter the season with Bradford as their quarterback it’s worth noting they could save $10.42 million by simply releasing him as he’s set to count $17.6 million against the 2014 salary cap.

There are few that believe the Rams are looking to draft a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick. With mixed results early and his career and with Bradford coming back from a torn ACL so the Rams are in no rush to extend him.
