After the first year of a three-year contract the Kansas City Chiefs have released cornerback Dunta Robinson.
Robinson, 31, lost his job to rookie Marcus Cooper last season and finished with just eight appearances 13 tackles and four pass deflections.

While Robinson figures to be limited to one-year offers this offseason there’s a good chance he could find work as a backup or safety option.
By releasing Robinson the Chiefs will save $3 million against the salary cap,
