Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater battled a virus last week and was kept away from the rest of the team. On Sunday the reliable kicker made the trip to New Jersey with the rest of his teammates.
“When I woke up Wednesday morning, I felt like I got run over by a truck,” he said to the Denver Post.
Prater is said to be feeling better and should have no trouble playing in Super Bowl 48. One of the better legs in the game, Prater was 25-of-26 this season, including 6-of-7 from beyond 50.
