Report: Browns willing to trade up for Johnny Manziel

The Cleveland Browns do not have a head coach or any coordinators but already there is a report from CBS Sports that the team is interested in trading up for quarterback Johnny Manziel.

In an article which centered about the Browns coaching search, Jason La Canfora said that the Browns were willing to trade up to nab Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.

However, they do have game-breaking receiver Josh Gordon, they are willing to trade up to land Johnny Manziel in the draft if need be, sources said, and have an owner, Jimmy Haslam, who is committed to spending their abundant cap space to try to win quickly.

Adam Gase who had been considered the front runner for the job, despite never interviewing, is believed to be staying in Denver for another season.

One of the Browns first targets in Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn also remains as an option.
