The Washington Redskins conduct summer training camp
The University of Maryland has added former NFL wide receiver Keenan McCardell as their new wide receivers coach.

McCardell, 44, spent 17 seasons in the NFL making two Pro-Bowls and earning a pair of Super Bowl rings, though the first was earned while on IR for the Washington Redskins.

The best seasons for McCardell came while a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars but he would earn his second Super Bowl ring with Tampa Bay in 2003.

McCardell retired after the 2007 season with the Redskins but later returned to coach their wide receivers. He was let go after the 2011 season.
