So much for Wade Phillips and his declaration that Peyton Manning had not truly broken the touchdown record. On Sunday Manning tossed his 52nd and 53rd touchdown passes of the season against the hapless Oakland Raiders.
Manning is playing because the Broncos can only ensure themselves of the No. 1 seed in the AFC by winning on Sunday.
So we will probably see another touchdown or two from Manning before the season is over.
