The Dallas Cowboys have placed linebacker Justin Durant on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Durant played just a handful of snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers before re-injuring his hamstring. His absence coupled with questions about the availability of Sean Lee for the remainder of the season have left the Cowboys thin at linebacker.
The Cowboys had Durant on the field in 10 games, including six starts this season. He signed a two-year deal with the Cowboys last offseason and is owed $1.25 million for 2014.
In a corresponding move the Cowboys signed linebacker Orie Lemon.
