Colts releasing little news about Donald Brown’s injury

The Indianapolis Colts are considering running back Donald Brown day to day.

Brown suffered what the Colts are calling a stinger during their win against the Houston Texans. He was replaced by Trent Richardson who again struggled to find yardage on the ground in the run game.

The Colts play against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16 and without Brown their chances of winning obviously take a hit. With the team already in the playoffs do not expect them to push Brown to return before he is healthy.

Brown’s stinger is likely to his neck. For comparison sake, Dallas linebacker Sean Lee missed Sunday’s game with the same injury a week after suffering it.

Brown has run for 428 yards (5.3 avg) with four rushing touchdowns this season. He also has caught 22 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown.
