Josh McCown was named the NFC Offensive player of the week after torching the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14.
Filling in for Jay Cutler, the 34-year-old McCown has been nothing short of impressive even if Monday’s heroics came against the worst defensive unit in the NFL.
McCown finished Monday’s game 27-of-36 for 348 yards with four passing touchdowns and another one on the ground.
Even with McCown’s strong play the Bears coaching staff says Cutler will start when healthy.
