Being the dog of Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone will not be fun this week. After blowing a lead over the Kansas City Chiefs, Marrone said he was upset following the Bills loss in Week 9.

“I’m pissed. I’m going to use that type of energy,” Marrone told reporters, via BuffaloBills.com. “I’m going to go home, not talk to anybody, just shut it down. I’m going to be by myself, I’m not going to pet my dog and I’m going to get fired up. I’m going to come to work tomorrow, I’m going to watch this film, I’m going to be a pro, I’m going to be a man. I’m just going to look at it and what can we do better.”

The Bills needed a win if they wanted to stay in the discussion for the AFC East title. Now 3-6 the Bills know a playoff appearance is becoming unlikely though Marrone does not expect the team to roll over just yet.

“We’re not out of the playoffs,” he added. “We’re a good football team that is not making the plays that we have to make. We play extremely hard, we fight through adversity, but we’re just not making the plays at the times that we need to make it. And that’s everybody.”

Fortunately for the Bills they may be able to welcome E.J. Manuel back for their Week 10 game against Pittsburgh.
