Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano allegedly believes that the presence of former Super Bowl MVP Dexter Jackson is a distraction.
Jackson was named MVP following Tampa Bays 48-21 win over the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII.
“I’m distracting professional players by bringing kids who have succeeded in school, did well, stayed out of trouble, and they’re a distraction?” Jackson told “Game Day Uncensored” on 98.7 The Fan in Tampa Bay. “If they’re a distraction, I’m worried about fans during away games. How can that be a distraction?”
Jackson also said that “Schiano sent his guy over to run me out of practice one day.”
To make matter worse the Buccaneers dropped to 0-6 on Sunday.
Falcons disinfect visitors locker room
The Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday and then proceeded to disinfect the visitors locker room at the Georgia Dome. While jokes could fly about getting rid of the losing spirit, the Buccaneers have had three players diagnosed with MRSA this season.
