On Tuesday the Atlanta Falcons placed linebacker Sean Weatherspoon on short term injured serve.
Weatherspoon, 25, is the latest member of the Falcons defense to go down with an injury. On Monday the team placed Kroy Biermann on the season ending injured reserve list with an Achilles’ injury.

The Falcons will not be able to activate Weatherspoon until Week 11. It will be another significant blow as Weatherspoon racked up 95 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and an interception last season in just 13 games.
