Green Bay Packers Eddie Lacy was forced out of Sunday’s game with a concussion. While the Packers jumped out to a huge first half lead they did so without Lacy who left the game after one carry for 10 yards.

Lacy left the game after a helmet-to-helmet hit from Washington Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather. There was no penalty thrown on the play and Lacy went to the locker room shortly thereafter.

Ironically Meriweather would leave the game in the second quarter after he delivered another helmet-to-helmet hit to Lacy’s replacement, James Starks.

Starks and Johnathan Franklin will share the load at running back for the rest of Sunday’s game. More on the status of Lacy should be coming during the week.
