The Pittsburgh Steelers thinned out their running back situation on Saturday cutting ties ties Jonathan Dwyer.
Dwyer, 24, had spent the last three seasons with the Steelers and ran the ball 156 times last year for 623 yards.
#steelernation I love y’all thanks for the love and support once steeler always a steeler. Now it’s time to take my talents somewhere else.

The move leaves Issac Redman, Felix Jones and LaRod Stephens-Howling to carry the ball while Le’Veon Bell is out with a foot injury.
Dwyer did himself no favors when he showed up to camp out of shape and overweight.
