Richie Incognito was involved in a altercation at the Fountainbleu hotel in Miami in July. Incognito knocked out a hotel security guard according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
At-least one person says that the Miami Dolphins guard was punched first.
The Miami Dolphins are aware of the incident.
Incognito has been in the news recently after he was hit with his own helmet by Antonio Smith of the Houston Texas during the second quarter of a preseason game on Saturday.
Video replay from Saturday shows Incognito sticking his hands under Smith’s facemask and then shoving the Texans defensive end after which Smith ripped off Incognito’s helmet and swung it at him. The NFL suspended Smith for the remainder of the preseason as well as Week 1.
