Von Miller will get at least a six game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
An announcement of Miller’s suspension could come as early as Monday.
ESPN is reporting that Miller is not expected to appeal the suspension as both sides are working on finalizing an agreement prior to the announcement of it.
Miller was said to be facing a four-game suspension last week prior to word coming out that he missed court in January for a traffic violation. It is unknown what Miller tested positive for but he did test positive for both marijuana and amphetamines as a rookie.
Though his first two seasons, Miller has racked up 30 sacks. An absence will negatively impact the Broncos defense who lost Elvis Dumerville to free agency and has question marks on the status of Derek Wolfe (neck) and Champ Bailey, (foot)
