At a press conference on Monday, Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan ruled quarterback Robert Griffin III out for the entire preseason.
Early Monday there was some speculation that Griffin could play at the end of preseason but that has been put to rest.

The Redskins will allow RG3 to resume practicing in 11-on-11 drills beginning on Wednesday. Shanahan’s decision to keep Griffin out of preseason football comes on advice from Dr. James Andrews.
There have been no setbacks for Griffin and he is expected to be under center for the Redskins in Week 1.
