The New Orleans Saints have lost two players with season ending injuries.
Kenyon Coleman, a left end, was lost for the season after tearing his pectoral in practice on Wednesday. The 34-year-old Colman was signed as a free agent and was expected to play a key role in Rob Ryan’s 3-4 defense.
With the loss of Coleman the Saints will likely move Akiem Hicks into his spot.
The Saints also lost wide receiver Joe Morgan with a torn meniscus and partially torn ACL. Morgan, 25, was considered to be the Saints No. 3 receiver. While Morgan could have put up massive stat lines that opportunity will now go to Nick Toon, Steve Breaston or Kenny Stills.
