The New York Giants and wide receiver Victor Cruz have agreed to terms on a six-year deal.
Cruz’s new deal with the Giants is worth $45.879 million and gives the team control of him though 2018.
Initially Cruz, 26, was said to be seeking close to $10 million annually after notching his second consecutive 1000 yard season.
The Giants were unwilling to meet Cruz’s initial demands but were able to lock up a player who had caught 19 touchdowns over the last two season
