Dallas Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey has been working on adding leg strength.
“You’re always working on the whole game. Improving the strength, working on the mental side of it — just trying to get better,” Bailey told the Star Telegram.
Since joining the Cowboys Bailey is 56-of-59 on field goal attempts up to 49 yards. He is 5-of-9 from 50 yards or more. Bailey missed two field goals from 50 or further in each of the last two seasons.
Bailey has made six game-winning kicks, second most in Cowboys history. Rafael Septien’s seven is the all-time franchise mark.
