The saga is over. Anquan Boldin has been traded. Baltimore traded the wide receiver to San Francisco for a sixth round pick in the upcoming draft.
Boldin will provide Colin Kaepernick another target down field.
The Ravens were said to be on the verge of releasing Boldin so Ozzie Newsome did well to get a draft pick in return. It is unclear exactly what Boldin would have gotten on the free agent market had he been released.
Boldin is 33 years of age but averaged 95 yards per game during the Ravens playoff run.
