Rob Ryan said he would be out of a job for “like five minutes” it was a little longer but reports came in that he had signed a contract to be the defensive coodinator of the St. Louis Rams.
Today the Rams annouced that they had changed their mind and would not have Ryan on their staff next season.
After extensive conversations regarding defensive philosophy, the Rams and Rob Ryan agreed he was not the right fit for the DC position.

The problem seems to be Jeff Fisher’s preference for the 4-3 defense while Ryan runs a 3-4.
There are few openings left but one possiable destination could be Philadelphia. The Jets have already said that if Rob could not find a job that they would hire him for a position on their staff next season.
How long will Rob be out of work this time? Ten minutes?
