Rob Gronkowski’s forearm fracture that occured on Sunday in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs is in a new location. CSN New England reports that the latest injury “had nothing to do with whether the arm was ready or not.”

The report goes on to say that doctors did see the original break and that it was intact and fully healed.

Even if the break is in a new location it does not change much. Gronkowski will miss any future Patriot games this season and spend the offseason rehabbing. He will return for the 2013-2014 season as one of the premier tight-ends in the game.
