The Tennessee Titans have answered the Chris Johnson question. Johnson will return to the team next season with $9 million of his $10 million salary being guaranteed by early February.
Johnson has topped the 1,000 yard rushing barrier in each of his five NFL seasons. In Monday’s win against the Jets he ran for 122 yards, including a 94 yard run touchdown run.
Johnson has a reputation as an all or nothing back. Removing the 94 yard run, Johnson ran for 28 yards on 20 attempts.
In Monday’s win Johnson topped 100 yards rushing for the first time since Nov. 11 against Miami.
